MOUZ make it to playoffs after comeback against Legacy

MOUZ may have begun their Major with two BO1 losses, but they've since battled their way back in the BO3s to qualify for the playoffs through the 2-2 bracket.

A thrilling match, they had to come back from 9-3 down on the final map in order to win the series, confirming their recovery from their poor start.

Let's take a look at the action.

Legacy dominate on Ancient

Despite MOUZ ultimately winning the series, it was Legacy that started strongest as they won Ancient 13-4.

A win that came off the back of a solid 10-2 CT half, every member of the Brazilian team went positive, but it was n1ssim and latto who stood tall at the top of the scoreboard as they combined for 35 kills.

MOUZ come back from 10-6 down to take Inferno

Inferno was all square at the half, n1ssim remained strong to help Legacy secure six rounds on their Inferno T side.

The Brazilians then took charge of the game early in the second, a pistol round win thanks to saadzin spurred them on to win three more and build up a 10-6 lead.

With their backs against the wall, MOUZ rallied through the combined efforts of Spinx and xertioN. They limited Legacy to just one more round, securing a 13-11 win without the need for an overtime.

MOUZ come back again to win it all on Nuke

Heading into our deciding map of Nuke, Legacy built up another strong lead from their CT side.

dumau was frying, he gunned down three in the Lobby to give Legacy a fourth round.

5-1 up, Legacy looked to extend their lead even further, but a smart 1v2 from Spinx kept MOUZ in the game.

9-3 at the half, MOUZ got themselves back into the game as they won their CT pistol and the following two rounds, and torzsi was beginning to feel confident.

And it's easy to see why, he and Jimpphat combined to help their team take series point with a 12-10 lead.

MOUZ wrapped up the map 13-10 in the next round, their highest rated player was xertioN on 1.24 thanks to his 19-19 statline.
