We're now two games down at BLAST Premier World Final 2024 and we've had our second 2-0 of the event.
A far closer match up this time around, both maps played could have easily gone the other way, but it was MOUZ who showed their composure in order to take the series win against FaZe.
A banger series, let's take a look at the action.
Inferno kicked off with yet another 7-5, this time going in favour of MOUZ's CT side.
xertioN and torzsi starred in that half, xertioN picked up 16 frags while torzsi secured 12 of his own as all of FaZe were restricted in the first half.
FaZe responded with a 7-5 CT half of their own, all but broky hit double-figure kills in the second half to take us to the first overtime of the event.
Brollan was on fire though, he cleaned up on the A site with four quick kills to put tie the series at 13-13.
Despite Brollan's heroics, it was xertioN who topped the scoreboard, his consistency across the 29 rounds saw him end map one with 23 kills.
Heading into Nuke, siuhy clearly had something cooking for map two.
And it worked, MOUZ were 7-5 up again at the half as they headed into their CT side.
The second half was incredibly close, and frustration was boiling over as they tension began to build.
With series point in their grasp but forced to a low-buy, MOUZ pulled out the tried and tested lobby crunch to secure their 12th.
But FaZe fought back hard, and we ended up needing all the rounds in order for MOUZ to claim their hard-fought victory.
