The final BLAST Rising tournament has come to a close and M80 have won it.

Joining Astralis, ATOX, and Imperial as the inaugural BLAST Rising champions, getting themselves bragging rights over the competition in their region.

M80 qualify for BLAST Open Lisbon

M80 began their run with a match against Nouns, a game in which Lake starred.

The young star went 37-27 in the 2-0 win, featuring a 13-11 win on Anubis and a 13-3 battering on Dust2.

Followed up by another 2-0 win, M80's semi-final match against NRG was even more dominant. An impressive feat considering how strong their opponents had been since signing br0.

13-3 on Anubis and 13-5 on Inferno, Lake put in another impressive performance but was beaten to the top of the scoreboard by his teammate slaxz-, who ended the series with a 1.52 rating.

M80's final match was played against BOSS, another series that ended in a 2-0 as they completed their clean sweep of BLAST Rising NA.

The closest game of their run, they were pushed to a 13-11 on Ancient and a 13-10 on Anubis, but 33 or more kills from all four of their stars was enough to earn them qualification to BLAST Open Lisbon.
