G2 take down FaZe to start Fall Final with a win

NAVI kicked off BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 with a win over Falcons and G2 have since followed that up with a 2-1 victory over FaZe.

A hard-fought victory, G2 had to dig deep to come away with the win against a FaZe team that was determined to prove that they are ready to bounce back.

m0NESY masterclass takes Dust2

Despite G2's strong start on Dust2, Snax was struggling. That didn't matter for much, however, m0NESY was having the time of his life on Counter-Strike's most iconic map.

He kept his game up, hitting the classic inhuman shots that we've now begun toe expect from him.

25-11 when all was said and done, m0NESY was the main driving force behind G2 stealing away FaZe's map pick with a 13-7 win.

FaZe bounce back on Inferno

Although FaZe would go on to win Inferno 13-6, it was malbsMd who kicked off the map in style with an ace on the opening pistol round.

FaZe quickly wrestled back control of the map, giving themselves an 8-4 lead at the break thanks to a strong retake on the B site.

They continued strong in the second half to close out the map without much fightback from G2. rain topped the scoreboard, his 15 kills in the first half meant that he ended with 18.

G2 close out on Mirage

There were heroics from G2 once again in the first pistol round of Mirage, malsbMd could barely believe what he was seeing as m0NESY secured the round.

The pistol heroics continued, too. NiKo hit an insane Deagle shot on round four.

But he wasn't the only one hitting impossible shots, broky did this just a few rounds later.

8-4 in favour of FaZe at the half, they got close to extending that lead after rain added his own absurd shot to the mix in an attempted B retake.

Unfortunately for FaZe though, G2's T side was too strong, and NiKo and co. managed to close out the map and series thanks to a 13-9 scoreline.
