That wasn't the only roster change today though, as Complexity have also announced the benching of floppy.
A player who has been with the team since they were signed, he departs after almost three years on the active roster.

Despite a strong start to Counter-Strike 2, Complexity have stagnated in 2024.
They won ESL Challenger Jonkoping in June, but their only real success at a tier one level came when they finished in the top four of ESL Pro League Season 19.
floppy in particular has struggled in the first full year of CS2, his rating decreased to 0.97 from 1.05 in 2023 after the switch to the new game.
The American joined the team in January 2022, and alongside Grim and JT, was one of the three remaining members from the original team signed after the collapse of the juggernaut.
That win in Sweden was the only trophy floppy lifted during his time on Complexity, although he did finish in the top four at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023 and second place at IEM Sydney 2023.
What's next for floppy is unclear, but given the success of NA rosters in recent months with the rise of M80 and Wildcard's success at the Perfect World Shanghai Major, there is plenty of hope that he will be able to find a competitive team soon.
The Major was floppy's final event with Complexity. floppy struggled in China, recording a 0.95 rating as the NA side crashed out in the Opening Stage with a 2-3 record.
