It's only day two of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 but we already have our first team eliminated from the competition.
It took a long time to be decided, Falcons fought valiantly, but they eventually fell 2-1 to FaZe as they ran out of steam on map three.
FaZe got off to a strong start on Nuke, they managed to pull off an 8-4 CT side thanks to teamwork like this.
Well, that and some clutch Zeus kills.
Falcons pushed hard, almost forcing overtime as they won four in a row to take us to 12-11.
However, the teamplay of FaZe proved to be too much, and despite rain's struggles, FaZe closed out with three players on twenty klils or more.
Ancient was close from the off and there was just two rounds separating the two sides as Falcons lead 7-5 at the half.
They extended their round count to 10 quite quickly into the second half, but shots like this were key to FaZe being able to finally tie the game at 10-10.
Forced to overtime, karrigan rolled back the years by deleting Snappi to entry the B site, but Falcons still managed to secure all three CT rounds to take us to double OT.
SunPayus then managed to give his team map point thanks to a 1v2 to make it 18-17.
But as FaZe drew level once more and took us to another overtime, the Spaniard was outshone by a crazy broky 1v4.
The game eventually drew to a close in the third overtime, three straight CT rounds were enough to push Falcons over the line.
Falcons were clearly in a good mood after closing out that grueling overtime, just listen to their comms at the start of Dust2.
Their moods may have soured by the end of the round, though. FaZe managed to win it despite only having Deagles.
And things went from bad to worse as frozen pulled off a 1v3 despite having just 15hp.
However, they were soon back on the board - dupreeh managed to pick up four as FaZe attempted to pop B.
That wasn't the only highlight for the veteran Dane in the first half either, just look at this disgusting Scout shot through the Mid Doors.
6-6 at the half, that was all she wrote for Falcons as FaZe dominated on their CT side, winning all the remaining rounds to close it out 13-6.
