It's semi-finals day at BLAST Rivals and we already know the first team to advance to the grand final.
A rematch of the grand final at PGL Cluj-Napoca, our first game saw Falcons take on MOUZ, with the latter looking to claim revenge after their big defeat at IEM Melbourne.
Thing's didn't quite pan out that way, though, so let's recap the action.
An even game all the way through, Falcons could only record a 7-5 lead from their CT side on Nuke.
NiKo kicked off the map in style, he picked up four on a low-buy to get Falcons on the board.
MOUZ would have been kicking themselves that they weren't taking more rounds into the second half, a strong set up from Falcons saw them pick up a round with nothing more than some upgraded pistols.
However, MOUZ did get some fortune, Brollan pulled off the defuse just in the nick of time in round 18.
Pushed to OT, the map remained close, but it was Falcons who ended up taking it thanks to great performances from Magisk and m0NESY.
Nuke may have been close, but Falcons began to soar on Dust2.
They were clearly confident from the start, too. Just look how much fun NiKo was having.
And it's easy to see why, m0NESY was winning rounds that only he can win.
Oh, and he was also hitting shots like this. Seriously, how can one man be so good at the game?
10-2 at the half, m0NESY remained dominant in the second, cutting down MOUZ as they tried to take the A bombsite.
13-6 when it was all said and done, the young GOAT once again topped the scoreboard, his 23 kills were key to securing the W.
