Finally, the biggest move of this rostermania has been announced.
It's been a long time coming, and we all thought it would happen at the end of 2023, but NiKo has finally been announced as a Falcons player.
Signed to be the star of their revamped team, he moves after four years with G2.
NiKo joining Falcons is one of the biggest moves in CS history, and was expected to happen a year ago before his now iconic 'I stay' tweet.
His final year with G2 was a successful one, they lifted three trophies across the year.
The first came at IEM Dallas, where NiKo acted as the IGL as HooXi was absent from the event. They then had to wait a few months for the next couple, but they came consecutively as G2 won both BLAST Premier Fall Final and BLAST Premier World Final.
In his final event with the team, NiKo came agonizingly close to finally lifting a CS Major trophy, but G2 were eliminated by FaZe in the semi-finals.
Finally lifting a Major trophy will be the main goal for NiKo in 2025, and coach zonic has already had his say on hoping they will do so together:
Fans won't have to wait long to see the new Falcons roster in action, they will debut at BLAST Bounty when it begins on January 14th.
