Two teams through, two teams out - that's how it works on day two of a Major.
Metizport were the first team to depart the BLAST.tv Austin Major as they were defeated 2-0 by Imperial, and now Brazilian team Fluxo will be joining them thanks to their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Chinggis Warriors.
The Mongolian team gladly said "f*ck your Pick'Ems," and will now live to fight another day in tomorrow's games, let's take a look at how they did it.
Chinggis Warriors got off to a strong start on the T side of Ancient and confidence was clearly high, ROUX bought a P90 as they attempted to rush the B site on round 10.
The Mongolian team were still in control at the half, though, they led the tie 7-5 at the break.
However, kye came alive in the second half, the former FURIA man picked up 16 kills on Fluxo's T side, dominating the server as Fluxo responded with an 8-3 half to take map one 13-10.
Fluxo carried their momentum into Mirage, too. After a brief blip at the start of the game, the Brazilians won seven rounds on the bounce to record a 7-5 T half on their map pick.
But that didn't mean it was game over. Despite reaching 11 rounds fairly quickly, Chinggis Warriors began to pile on the pressure, and eventually took us to a decider after a nail-biter of a final round.
With the momentum now firmly in Chinggis Warrior's favour, the Mongolian team wasn't letting anything slide on Nuke.
They were everywhere on their T side, calling rings around arT as Fluxo's defence simply failed to handle their attack.
A 10-2 half in favour of the Mongolians, they extended their lead in the second half pistol round, but that wasn't without it getting close due to some impressive shots from piriajr.
Sadly, though, that was all she wrote for the Brazilians in the BLAST.tv Austin Major, controlez's 17 kills saw him top the scoreboard as Chinggis Warriors secured the series with a 13-2 win.
