And there you have it, Spirit are your first ever BLAST Bounty champions
donk and sh1ro put on a masterclass for us in the final, their exploits limited Eternal Fire to just 17 rounds in three maps as Spirit bounced back from defeat in the opening map.
Let's look back on the action.
Anubis has been a reliable map for Eternal Fire during BLAST Bounty, and they proved why yet again as they took an unexpected lead in the series.
Despite Eternal Fire winning the map, it was Spirit who started the strongest. Not that it was exactly that hard for them when MAJ3R was whiffing in fights like this.
The rounds did stay close, and sh1ro only picked up an eighth for Spirit because of a smoke spam.
9-3 at the half, Eternal Fire fought back, but couldn't prevent Spirit from getting to map point. It looked like it might be game over as Spirit attempted an A Split, but Wicadia was on hand to stop them.
Spirit had another chance to seal it in the next round, but Wicadia and woxic combined to pull off an impressive retake.
With the game going to overtime, it was finally time for XANTARES to stamp his mark on the map, killing chopper and zont1x as Eternal Fire planted on B.
An incredible map, Eternal Fire's stars were firing as they secured it 16-14, but the shadow of donk was beginning to loom large. It's not often 2024's best player has more than one bad map in a series.
Spirit came back in full force on Nuke, but it was XANTARES who started the map with a bang as he picked up three on the first pistol round.
That was about as good as it got for Eternal Fire on the map, it was all routine for Spirit from there, they won 10 rounds in a row to make it 10-2 at the half.
The second half was also much of the same, the gap proved to be too large for Eternal Fire to close, and the combined frags of Spirit's heavy hitters gave them a 13-6 win.
Now firing on all cylinders, donk was keen to end this series as fast as he possibly could. Spirit started Dust2 with a 5-0 lead, partly thanks to these kind of plays from him.
11-1 at the half, Eternal Fire couldn't get anything going, but what can you do when you're getting cut down like this?
13-3 the final score, donk was now back to his best, and Eternal Fire couldn't handle him at all.
The opening rounds of Mirage were as close as the series had been for two maps, and nothing sums that up better than this perfect molly from zont1x.
Things were now looking scary for Eternal Fire, donk was beginning to use them as a pre-fire map.
8-4 in favour of the half, it should have been 7-5, but sh1ro pulled off an incredible 1v3 to seal the final round.
It was all coming up Spirit, and they took the game away from Eternal Fire from the second pistol round. It all ended 13-8, with sh1ro and donk closing out the series with an incredible 78 kills each.
