Earlier today Eternal Fire secured their place in the grand final of BLAST Bounty Season One, but who would be joining them?
Would it be the best team of 2024, or the best player of 2024?
Let's take a look at the action.
donk may have stolen the headlines on Dust2, but it was iM who kicked off the series with an ace in the very first round.
The two teams kept the game close, but it was shots like this out of zont1x that gave Spirit an early advantage.
Spirit kept firing, and it wasn't long before donk picked up a highlight of his own.
8-4 at the half, donk kept going in the second half, picking up four to extend his team's lead to five rounds.
A relatively clean win from there, donk went absolutely nuclear with a 28-13 statline to give Spirit a 13-9 win.
Heading into ancient the teams were pretty close, but it was Spirit who had the lead at the half with a 7-5 scoreline.
Spirit kept their lead going into the second half, but a crazy spray transfer from b1t kept NAVI in the game.
Pushed to overtime, the pressure was clearly beginning to get to people, even the current best player in the world.
But it wasn't all mistakes, and sh1ro was loving it as Spirit pulled it back to 14-14.
Rounds continued to be traded back and forth, but in the end it was Spirit who closed out the map and series. 22-2- in favour of the Major champions, donk and sh1ro's combined 69 kills sent them to their first final of 2025.
