NAVI survive paiN scare to book semi-finals place

We've already had one bounty claimed today and we almost had another as NAVI had to survive a scare against paiN.

The Brazilians were in fine form across the BO3, pushing NAVI all the way to overtime on map three.

Let's take a look at the action.

NAVI take Dust2 in overtime

We kicked off the series on Dust2, and it didn't take long for snow to get firing to bring paiN into the game after NAVI took the pistol round.

A round which began a competitive half, the two teams went into the break with the scoreline 7-5 in favour of NAVI.

paiN then took advantage of the map in the second half, but the ever reliable iM was on hand to make sure the game didn't get away from NAVI.

And he wasn't the only NAVI member pulling off highlights, w0nderful did whatever this is on round 21.

With the game sent to overtime it was jL's turn to get in on the action, he picked up two quick headshots to grab Long control for his team.

w0nderful then pulled off another impressive play, shutting down paiN towards Long to give his team map point.

And NAVI converted it into a map win int he very next round, w0nderful top fragged the map with an insane 34 kills.

paiN bounce back on Nuke

dav1deuS has so far been stellar for paiN, and he showed once again why the Brazilians were so keen to sign him as he secured the opening round of Nuke.

paiN continued their strong start to the game, snow came up big to secure a fifth round on the A site.

8-4 at the half, paiN furthered their lead with a pistol round win after snow clutched in the 1v2.

A poor showing from NAVI by their usual Nuke standards, they were powerless to stop paiN from taking the map 13-7 as kauez and snow combined for 36 kills.

NAVI clinch series after close Mirage game

Forced to the deciding map of Mirage, paiN once again had the lead at the half thanks to a 7-5 T side.

As the game went on the rounds got scrappier, and w0nderful almost pulled off a great clutch but instead conceded map point to the Brazilians.

An incredible game, both teams were solid throughout, but in the end it was paiN who felt the hurt as they ran out of steam and NAVI booked their place in the semi finals.
