Eternal Fire have been on a solid run so far here at BLAST Bounty, and they continued that run today with a win over G2.
Now confirmed as our first finalists, the game was a thrilling, back and forth BO3, so let's take a look at the action.
Eternal Fire may have won Anubis, but they had to do so after falling seven rounds down at the start of the game.
That didn't mean the comeback was easy, m0NESY had them sweating with plays like this.
But m0NESY wasn't the only AWPer shining, woxic was also hitting his shots.
7-5 at the half, Eternal Fire soon leveled the score, and it's not surprising with fortune like this.
malbsMd clearly wasn't happy with it all, but at least he showed he can be an effective NiKo replacement.
Despite 25 kills from m0NESY and a further 20 from huNter-, the map ended 13-11 in favour of Eternal Fire. Their top fragger was Wicadia, who kicked off their comeback and ended the game on 20.
G2 got off to another strong start on Dust2, and it's no surprise when malbsMd is clicking on heads with this much ease.
8-4 at the half, it could have easily been 7-5, but malbsMd remained too strong for the Turkish side.
Despite then losing the pistol round, Eternal Fire refused to go down without a fight, and woxic was leading the charge with his Scout.
But it wasn't enough, and huNter- wrapped up the map in style for a 13-9 G2 win.
G2 once again got off to a strong start on Nuke, but Eternal Fire soon levelled the scores at 5-5.
It wasn't easy though, HeavyGod picked up an ace but he couldn't secure the round on round 10.
However, m0NESY did actually win his clutch in the next round to give G2 six rounds at the break.
The map remained close in the second half, but in the end it was Eternal Fire who won the day as they closed out the map 13-10.
