The pressure for bounties has just doubled; BLAST Bounty is going live with fans in the building.
This August, BLAST Premier Bounty returns, and for the first time, Week 2 will take place live from BLAST's new studio in Malta, with fans in attendance. Alongside the familiar high-stakes matches, this marks the next step in bringing the tournament experience closer to the community.
The best teams will face off on LAN in BLAST's studios in Malta. The event is part of a broader multi-year collaboration with GamingMalta, an independent non-profit foundation established by the Government of Malta.
BLAST will also work with GamingMalta to support the local scene - that means supporting the grassroots scene, working with universities, and helping open doors for Maltese players, content creators, and others looking to build careers in the gaming industry.
Invites for the BLAST Bounty - and the upcoming BLAST Open - will be determined based on the Global VRS standings as of July 7. The top teams will receive their official invites on July 14, setting the stage for intense Counter-Strike action.
The first part of BLAST Bounty - and Open - tournaments will be held online. In the second week of BLAST Bounty, teams will play in front of an audience in BLAST's brand-new studio in Malta.
To celebrate our partnership with GamingMalta, tickets will be free for BLAST Bounty this August. Be sure to register to BLAST.tv to be first to hear how to secure your spot at the event.
