We're now days away from the first tournament of the year, BLAST Bounty.
The rosters are locked, the teams will soon be picking their opponents, and we couldn't be more excited to bring Counter-Strike's most innovative format to your screens for the first time ever.
So, with that said, let's go over the seeding, the draws, and all the participation fees for the event.
The teams for BLAST Bounty were invited using the Valve Global Ranking System, the teams were seeded based upon the teams' ranking on December 2nd 2024.
The seeding means that teams will carry different starting bounties into the tournament, so you'll be able to see each team's specific bounty next to their name and figure out who will be the biggest scalps for the underdogs to take.

The MongolZ, whom previously accepted their invitation, have unfortunately had to rescind their acceptance. The remaining teams have been invited based on VRS.
The teams in the lower half of that bracket (seeds 17-32) are the teams that get to go hunting and select who they play in order to earn bounties.
Due to being the highest seed in that bracket, BIG will be the first team to select their opponent.
The first draw will take place tomorrow, January 11th 2025 from 11am CET. To follow all the action, make sure you're keeping your eyes fixed on the BLAST socials for live updates.
Beating a higher seed means you inherit their seed going into the next round, where the same process of the lower seeds picking the higher seeds will be in place. The draw for the RO16, will take place on Friday 17th January.
When we get to the playoffs, the draw will take place in an all-new live show. You should know by now that the best place to watch that show is right here on BLAST.tv, and you can do so on Wednesday 22nd January.
The full schedule for each round will be available after each draw concludes.
