BLAST unveils Blacklyte special edition chairs for BLAST.tv Austin Major
BLAST has revealed further details on their global partnership with Blacklyte for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major.
Blacklyte is already the Global Chair Partner of the BLAST, covering BLAST Premier, BLAST SLAM, BLAST R6, as well as the FNCS and RLCS. Blacklyte will now also feature across the BLAST.tv Austin Major, BLAST’s Counter-Strike major set to get underway this June.
Alongside Blacklyte’s digital integration into broadcast, Blacklyte products will feature across the Austin action, including the use of Blacklyte’s Atlas Gaming Desk. Alongside this broadcast integration, Blacklyte will also be producing the Blacklyte x BLAST.tv Austin Major Athena Pro.
The Athena Pro chair features unique BLAST.tv Austin Major branding, including nods to Austin and the inclusion of “Ace”, the mascot of the Major. These special edition chairs will be used by competitors during the Champions stage, with the top 8 teams battling to become Major Champions on them.

The BLAST.tv Austin Major is BLAST’s second Counter-Strike Major, bringing together 32 of the best Counter-Strike teams in the world for three weeks of elite competition battling over $1.25m of prize money and a shot at being a part of Counter-Strike history.
Hosted at the state-of-the-art Moody Center, BLAST will welcome tens of thousands of fans into Downtown Austin for four days of exhilarating arena action culminating in the crowning of our Major Champions.
