apEX: "I'm happy to not be known as the IGL who wins with a stand-in"

Nuke's start was really tough. We had an okay pistol round and a good read, but we lost it without a kill, first buy round was one kill, and after five rounds we had, like, three kills. It was tough. They played really well.
Then, on Cache, we managed to win despite losing in both pistol rounds, which I think is really impressive because that's hard to do nowadays. It felt like we were ready, we played good CS, and that's all that matters, that's what I'm happy about.
On Dust2, we just dominated. We finally won a CT pistol round, and at 8-4, we kept going and I'm quite happy about today.

I think the meta is simple; Cache isn't a big tactical map. They had good plans sometimes about what they were doing, and they were ready and picked it because of that, but we should've won the last one we played and we threw it. We're really confident on it and think it's good for us.

I'm pretty happy to not be known as the IGL who wins with a stand-in, because I don't really care. For me, this tournament, we know we can win, but we just want to play better and get more confidence after a tough period.
We know that if the confidence gets back to the level we want, we can be really fucking dangerous again, and that's the main goal. Of course, winning would be fantastic for the mental, even if it's sad for mezii because he's at home and not with us, but if we win, it will help us be better in the future.
