Recently, Xyp9x departed from Astralis after eight years with the organisation having been benched in the first half of 2023.
Although it wasn't clear what was next for the Danish legend, his next move has now been announced as he will link up with MOUZ to become an assistant coach to sycrone.
A fresh start for him, he has already said that he "wants to become the best coach in the world".
With four Major wins and an Intel Grand Slam to his name in CS:GO, Xyp9x is one of the most experienced players to ever grace the beautiful game.
On the other hand, the team he has joined, MOUZ, has an average age of 20.5 - making them the youngest team in tier one.
Despite their youth, MOUZ won a tier one competition last year at ESL Pro League Season 18 and have continued to impress with multiple deep runs at events in CS2.
Fellow Dane sycrone has announced himself as one of the best coaches in the world during his time with the MOUZ organisation, so Xyp9x will have a great mentor to learn from in his new venture.
