Thanks to their win at ESL Pro League Season 18, MOUZ have confirmed their place at BLAST Premier World Final 2023 - but they weren't the only team.
Due to their high points totals, NAVI and ENCE have also both secured their place at the final event of the year in Abu Dhabi.
The fifth and sixth placed teams on our World Leaderboard, the teams below them no longer have the ability to catch them in the ranking.
While both teams may have had disappointments, missing out on the Champions Stage at the BLAST.tv Paris Major being notable for both, the two teams teams have qualified thanks to their consistently strong tournament placings across the year.
In the case of NAVI, they began their year strong with advancement from BLAST Premier Spring Groups, and continued that form into top four finishes at IEM Katowice and ESL Pro League Season 17.
They also finished in the top eight at IEM Cologne, and were most recently the runners up to MOUZ at ESL Pro League Season 18 thanks to strong performances from Ukrainian duo b1t and s1mple.
ENCE began their year slower as they fell in the IEM Katowice Play-in, but have been one of the best teams of the year since the addition of Nertz. Finishing in the top four of their first event with the Israeli at ESL Pro League Season 17, they have since won IEM Dallas, came second at IEM Cologne, and achieved another top four at ESL Pro League Season 18.
So far, seven of the eight spots at World Final have been filled. The team list for the event (so far) is as follows:
With one spot remaining at World Final 2023, one team could book their place in Abu Dhabi by winning BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023.
So far, six teams are confirmed for Fall Final. Four of those teams have already qualified for World Final thanks to wins at other events, meaning only NIP and Astralis of the currently confirmed teams can secure their place by winning the event in Copenhagen.
Should one of the four already qualified teams win Fall Final, the final remaining spot will be decided by points on the World Leaderboard. Should this happen, then Astralis are currently in pole position to qualify as they sit in seventh place on the World Leaderboard.
Of course, more names are left to be thrown into the Fall Final mixer, BLAST Premier Fall Showdown is set to begin October 4th and will decide the final two teams attending the event.
