The first day of the group stage is a banger, we're set to bring you four best-of-threes between some of the very best teams in the world.
Please bear in mind that we will be using rolling start times for the event, so the times listed for the following matches are approximate.
10:00 GST | CLOUD9 VS ENCE |
13:00 GST | VITALITY VS NAVI |
16:00 GST | FAZE VS HEROIC |
19:00 GST | MOUZ VS G2 |
We've already outlined our favourites and underdogs for the event, but let's go over them one more time.
Team Vitality made two changes before BLAST Premier Fall Final, one to the team itself, and the other their coach. That didn't hinder them at all though, they departed Copenhagen as the first team to take down FaZe in CS2.
Now with even more time to feel the impact of the arrivals of mezii and XQTZZZ, we're sure that they'll be an even more dangerous force in Abu Dhabi.
If FaZe need reinforcements to take down Vitality, they've found someone very capable in frozen. The most dominant force in CS2 thus far, they'll be refreshed by the signing of their new Slovakian star.
A motivated FaZe is a dangerous one, and they'll be hungry to get their first tournament win with their new lineup at World Final.
World Final has a whopping $1,000,000 prize pool. Here is how it is broken down:
1ST | $500,000 |
2ND | $250,000 |
3RD-4TH | $85,000 |
5TH-6TH | $25,000 |
7TH-8TH | $15,000 |
The final big event in one of the most important years in Counter-Strike history, it's going to be a banger.
