Vitality clinch second Fall Final spot over Astralis

Astralis and Vitality had already met once at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024, a game that went 2-0 in favour of Vitality.

The rematch was far closer with Astralis taking the first map, however, it wasn't enough to see them qualify for Fall Final at the first time of asking.

Astralis take Vertigo

The first half of Vertigo may have ended 7-5 but ZywOo was in exceptional form as he ended the first half 14-7.

It took a real team performance to match the Frenchman, four of Astralis' players had positively rated T sides.

ZywOo alone was enough to see the game level after 20 rounds with both teams earning themselves ten rounds.

Astralis took control of the game in the next three rounds, however, closing it out 13-10 thanks to a combined 41 kills from stavn and Staehr.

Vitality return fire on Mirage

Mirage was chaos from the get go, Astralis won pistol after both teams traded headshots at B.

The round win set Astralis up for a 7-0 start that included stavn picking up a crazy 3k from Stairs.

However, their streak came to an end after br0's failed smoke defuse.

Vitality came back in force. 7-5 at the half, they managed to gain the advantage as they took the score to 10-9.

Staehr then got close to leveling the tie, but mezii was on hand to shut him down in the 1v1.

Astralis did manage to get their tenth round after Vitality had secured match point, but it wasn't without ZywOo making it incredibly difficult.

The game ended the very next round with the Frenchman topping the charts with 20 kills.

Vitality qualify on Nuke

Just like Mirage, Nuke started with another exciting pistol round. Vitality were the victors in the third map, Spinx clutched up down on B.

The pistol round win set Vitality up for their strongest start in the series, but despite these impressive AWP shots by ZywOo, they were still limited to just a 3-3 start.

The AWPer got his revenge just two rounds later, picking up a 1v4 to put Vitality back in the lead.

And the clutches kept coming, it was Staehr's turn in round 9.

Oh, and then it was mezii's turn and the first half still hadn't even ended.

To which Astralis followed up with a force buy win. Christ, this game was chaotic.

However, he second half calmed down massively. 7-5 at the half, Vitality were flawless on their CT side to win 13-7.
