The Draft Season 1 is now over and what an event it was.
Three teams from India and three teams from Pakistan came face-to-face in Kuala Lumper, Malaysia, to battle it out for a $50,000 prize pool and be crowned the best in their region.
Oh, and did we mention they were joined by some of the biggest legends in Counter-Strike history?
One of the legends joining the teams was French Major winner shox, and he won the event and put in an MVP performance alongside his team, Marcos Gaming.
shox recorded an incredible 1.54 HLTV rating over the 14 maps he played - which makes him only worse than donk at IEM Katowice.
Joining him in the top of the rankings was R2B2 and EmbeR, the two were his partners-in-crime as they secured a place in the final through the lower bracket and gained revenge on kennyS' True Rippers.
The final, which was played against BLAST Premier World Final 2023 show match team True Rippers, was a thrilling five-map affair. Marcos Gaming gained a 2-0 lead largely through the performances of shox, but were forced to map five after True Rippers battled back to level the score 2-2.
It mattered for little, however, shox turned on the style on map five to dominate Overpass 13-3 and seal the tournament for Marcos Gaming.
A truly thrilling, one-of-a-kind event, it was an absolute joy to see some of our favourite players on the server again, especially the battle between French legends.
shox, kennyS, olofmeister, GuardiaN, GeT_RiGhT, and friberg all did battle in a showcase event for the Indian and Pakistani teams and they provided some great entertainment and tough competition.
