The Draft Super 6 is now underway, and the first day was jampacked with exciting Counter-Strike action.
On day three we were down to our final four teams and two of them ended the day as finalists, let's go through all the action and see who will be facing off in tomorrow's grand final.
Our first game of the day saw French legends kennyS and shox come head-to-head in a banger series between the two Indian teams they are representing.
True Rippers drew first blood, they won Marcos' map pick of Mirage with a 13-10 scoreline. Despite the loss, Marcos Gaming legend shox top-fragged the server, he picked up 19 kills and was integral to keeping his side in the map.
Carrying that performance into map two, shox top-fragged again as he added another 23 frags to his tally. A dominating performance that carried a dominant CT side, Marcos stole Anicent with a 13-7 scoreline.
shox top-fragged again on Inferno as he picked up a monstrous 30 kills, but it was kennyS who got the last laugh as he and Gh0sTTTT combined for 50 kills to secure Inferno 16-13 and book True Rippers their place in the grand-final.
Our lower bracket final saw the last two remaining Pakistani teams face off for their lives in the tournament, but who would come out on top? olofmeisters Pak Boyz, or friberg's Team WahWah?
Pak Boyz kicked off their map pick of Ancient with a pistol-round win on their T side, and they continued strong as they closed out the half with an 8-4 lead. It didn't take too long for them to take the map, they won 13-7 thanks to friberg's 21 kills.
Map two was even more one-sided in favour of friberg and the Boyz. They dominated CT side Mirage with a 10-2 scoreline and rounded out the map 13-6. Once again, friberg performed well with 16 kills but it was DYNAMITE who pipped him to the title of top-fragger as he ended on 17.
Fighting for a place in the grand final was shox's Marcos Gaming and friberg's Pak Boyz - could the Frenchman redeem himself from his earlier loss or would the Swede's Boyz complete their lower bracket run to the final?
The first map, Inferno, was a close affair - it went all the way to overtime in order to decide a victor. 16-12 when all was said and done, shox carried his fine form from the opening game of the day to amass 27 kills and lift his team to victory.
Map two was a very different tale. 13-3 in favour of Marcos Gaming, they confirmed their place in the grand final in a dominant fashion. shox played well once again with 15 frags to his name, but it was bhavi who starred with a 24-8 statline to shut down Pak Boyz and set up a final match versus True Rippers.
