OG pick up comfortable win against Heroic
Day four of BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024 is now well underway and we've already got through the first quarter-final of the day.
The game, which saw OG take on Heroic, ended in a way many wouldn't have expected as OG took the win with a comfortable 2-0 scoreline.
OG dominate Vertigo
OG got off to a strong start on Vertigo as they raced to a 9-3 lead on their T side.
Things just weren't going Heroic's way in that first half, and you can see why when you see this awkward close encounter near A ramp.
Heroic looked to be mounting a bit of a fightback, but that was quickly put to a halt by regali with this 1v1.
A strong performance from OG, HeavyGod continued his strong form at Spring Showdown 2024 with a 17-7 statline as the game ended 13-5.
Mirage is comfortable for OG
Momentum was firmly in OG's favour and that didn't stop on Mirage.
HeavyGod again starred, he showed why his countrymen have been rating him so highly with this incredible 3k on the B site defence.
Heroic managed to level the score at 4-4, but HeavyGod again proved to be the thorn in their side with this 1v2.
Desperation began to set in for Heroic. At least, that's what we think it was. It may have just been a bit of 3000IQ play by the Heroic IGL kyxsan.
The game remained comfortable for the young side of OG. regali played well as he secured himself 19 frags but it was HeavyGod who will again take the plaudits thanks to his 22.
