Spirit put themselves in touching distance of Fall Final with win over HEROIC

Day one of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 was a banger and day two has promised to be the same after a thrilling opening game between HEROIC and Spirit.

Spirit were the victors as was to be expected with their opponents playing with their coach, but that doesn't mean that HEROIC made it easy for them.

HEROIC keep it close on Vertigo

It was HEROIC who started off brightest on Vertigo and sAw made sure donk knew he would be no pushover on round four.

They hit Spirit hard and left the Russian team shell-shocked as the first half ended with a huge 9-3 scoreline in favour of the international squad.

TeSeS was confident, but that confidence was about to be proven misguided in the second half.

donk showed once again why he is an unstoppable force with brutal entries on Ramp.

Despite NertZ 21 kills on the map, donk's own 21 kills and a little 1v2 from magixx were enough for Spirit and HEROIC eventually fell to a 13-11 scoreline.

Spirit comfortable on Anubis

Spirit kept up their momentum in the opening rounds of Anubis but it was sAw who picked up the first highlight of the map as he clutched up against magixx.

7-5 at the half, the second half was near-perfect from Spirit thanks to a team performance from their stars and they took the map and series with a 13-6 scoreline.
