Rare Atom qualify for Fall Showdown 2024
M80, AMKAL, and Zero Tenacity have all already booked their spots in BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024, and now Rare Atom will be joining them after victory in the 5E Arena Cup.
Rare Atom are no strangers to Showdowns, they also competed in BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024 earlier this year.
However, they were eliminated from Spring Showdown in last place after falling 2-0 to Cloud9.
Rare Atom's run
Rare Atom only dropped one map during their run to the Showdown, losing Mirage 13-8 to Alter Ego in a 2-1 semi-final win.
Their most impressive victory came in the group stage when they blitzed Asia's premier team The MongolZ 13-6 on Inferno.
The group stage also saw them pick up a win against Cat Evil.
In their final game, Rare Atom took down Chinese legends TYLOO in a comfortable 2-0. 13-11 on Anubis and then 13-3 on Inferno, with JamYoung powerless to stop Rare Atom from booking their place in the Showdown.
Fall Showdown will take place between August 21st-25th as 16 teams battle it out to try to secure the last two places for BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024. Make sure to watch all the action right here on BLAST.tv.
