OG eliminated by a resurgent Falcons
In the final game of day two of BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024 we bid farewell to our second team, this time OG.
A comfortable 2-0 for Falcons, let's go over the action from the game.
Map one - Ancient (OG's pick)
Given their 13-0 loss in their opener against Vitality, OG would have been hoping for a better start against Falcons on day two - they didn't get one.
Falcons opened up with a 6-0 lead on their CT side, and it took HeavyGod to hit his first OG highlight with a 1v2 on the B site to secure a first round for his team.
It mattered for little though, the duo of BOROS and SunPayus combined for 27 kills to limit OG to just two rounds as they went into their own CT side.
Of course, luck wouldn't favour OG on their CT side either, and Falcons IGL Snappi dealt a huge blow to F1KU and Nexius with a great nade.
A blink and you'll miss it kind of game, Falcons took the win with a 13-2 scoreline.
Map two - Vertigo (Falcons' pick)
Map two was a much closer affair, but once again it was Falcons who got the first rounds on the board as they won their T side pistol.
OG responded well and the scores were tied 6-6 at the break, but SunPayus and BOROS once again combined to give Falcons the advantage following the second half pistol round.
OG kept pushing, but ultimately they couldn't handle BOROS. The Jordanian picked up 19 kills in an incredible second half, shattering his opponents' dreams of playing at Spring Final.
