What do you do when you see m0NESY and w0nderful bossing it at the first CS2 Major? You go out and sign your own Eastern European prodigy.
At least, that's what NIP have done.
Today the Swedish organisation has announced the signing of r1nkle, the 19-year-old sniper who has been playing with B8 since early 2021.
r1nkle arrives at NIP with plenty of hype surrounding him. He has been the face of many bold predictions in the past and boasts a 1.12 HLTV rating in the past three months.
Although his tier one experience is limited, he has performed admirably in two RMR events, falling with a 2-3 record at the RMRs for both the IEM Rio Major and the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
r1nkle is the third signing of the new NIP era. They first signed Xizt to coach their new project and then promoted maxster following an impressive stint with the Young Ninjas team.
Although the final player is yet to be confirmed, r1nkle will be sure to provide firepower for a team that also contains REZ and alex.
NIP fans won't have to wait long to see their new AWPer in action, he is set to face off against Sampi in a qualifer for the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 tomorrow.
