After a lengthy rebuilding process, NIP have finally completed their roster with the signing of isak from GamerLegion.
The BLAST.tv Paris Major finalist joins after spending almost three years with GamerLegion.
isak's departure from GamerLegion means that GamerLegion no longer have any players who played in the BLAST.tv Paris Major final on their active roster.
He is the third departure from their team following the recent benchings of Keoz and acoR.
The 22-year-old developed into one of GamerLegion's most important players during his time with the team. He helped them to their first Major at IEM Rio 2022 and then defied the odds by making the grand final in Paris.
The organisation posted a heartfelt tribute to him after his move was announced.
In a statement from NIP, head coach Xizt had this to say:
"Isak embodies the essence of team play — he's the unsung hero who elevates the performance of his teammates. Isak's consistent performance under pressure, posting solid stats in the least flashy role, underscores his reliability. Despite his youth, Isak's potential for growth within our setup is promising and I think he'll quickly become a crucial asset." - Xizt, via NIP
NIP's old-school fans will be incredibly happy with this move. With REZ sticking around and maxster also promoted to the main roster, the organisation now has a Swedish core once again.
