It looks like G2 will be holding on to their talisman NiKo following a sensational U-turn from the Bosnian.
Recent reports from 1pv.fr had suggested that his move to Falcons was all but done, but today's news suggests there will be no chance of that move coming to pass.
Getting NiKo to stay with G2 is perhaps bigger for them than it would have been for Falcons had they signed him. A near-impossible player to replace, the team has won both IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne this year thanks to some stellar performances by one of Counter-Strike's best-ever players.
NiKo deciding to stay with G2 will put a huge dent in Falcons' ambition to take over the Counter-Strike world in 2024.
That being said, they may still be in a strong position to sign Snappi, SheepEsports are reporting the Dane has reached a verbal agreement to join the Saudi organisation.
Snappi isn't the only Dane set to join Falcons. French streamer KRL has said that Magisk will be "the first official move." Magisk has already departed Vitality, he won his fourth Major with them at the BLAST.tv Paris Major earlier this year.
