GamerLegion have benched Belgian player Keoz after a disappointing Opening Stage exit from the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.
The organisation had previously failed to even qualify for the first CS2 Major but were a late inclusion following 9 Pandas failure to secure visas in time.
Keoz was part of the GamerLegion team that went on a miracle run to make the grand final of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
His removal officially marks the end of the core that went on that run, as siuhy and iM already departed for MOUZ and NAVI respectively.
GamerLegion managed to maintain their presence at the top level following the final CS:GO Major, finishing in the top eight at IEM Cologne, Gamers8, and IEM Sydney.
The organisation has posted a video detailing his best moments for the team on their Twitter.
Keoz himself seems optimistic about his future saying on Twitter "A new page is starting for me as I have the eager to still compete".
He should have no struggle finding a team either thanks to his host of tier one experience and the number of languages he is able to speak.
It is currently unclear who will be replacing Keoz on GamerLegion, although changes are likely to come soon as they will be playing ESL Pro League Season 19 on April 23rd.
