G2 sweep past NIP in 2-0 victory

With G2 fresh off a loss in the EWC grand final they were looking to come into BLAST Premier Fall Groups with a big win and did so as they took down NIP in two maps.

That doesn't mean it was easy, though. NIP pushed them close the whole way.

G2 steal Anubis

G2 may have won the map, but it was NIP who startyed strongest as REZ picked up the opening pistol round.

The Swede then came up big a few rounds later, securing NIP's third round with a B site hold.

8-4 at the half, the second pistol round saw it be m0NESY's turn for pistol round heroics as he shut down NIP in Mid.

The boy wonder then kept up that strong start for the remainder of the half, picking up 13 frags as G2 took the map 13-7.

With G2 a map away from a series win, it was NiKo who looked to get them off to a strong start but r1nkle managed to shut him down in the 1v1.

8-4 in favour of G2 once again at the half, NIP came alive and brought the game back to 11-10 and were feeling the comeback.

Sadly though, that was as good as it got and NIP fell 13-11 to condede the series and head down to the losers' game.
