G2 qualify for Fall Final in two against NIP

After a banger rematch between Astralis and Vitality, we were treated to another rematch between G2 and NIP.

G2 won the first match 2-0, a feat they repeated in the second series with a 13-7 on Ancient and a 13-7 on 13-8.

G2 comfortable on Ancient

G2 started off strong on Ancient with a 5-1 lead. A lead that was then extended by m0NESY and the AWP on the A site.

He then made it seven for G2 in the very next round with a clean 1v2.

8-4 at the half, G2 quickly found 12, but r1nkle extended the game by a round with another AWP highlight on B.

However, the round wasn't enough for NIP to mount a comeback, and they fell the next round thanks to an incredible 24-9 performance by m0NESY.

G2 seal Fall Final on Inferno

G2 had another strong start on Inferno as they built up an early 3-1 lead, but NIP captain alex was in high spirits as they pulled one back in round five.

That round didn't stop G2 from wrestling back control of the match to push us to 6-3, although a crazy highlight from r1nkle in Boiler was enough to secure NIP a fourth round.

6-6 at the half, malbsMd shone in the second pistol round to secure G2 the advantage once more.

The Guatemalan then came up big again at 10-7 to keep G2's advantage in the game.

From one new player to the next, G2's new captain Snax did enough to seal match and series point for G2 on B.

A real team performance from G2, thanks to this victory, the next time we see them will be at BLAST Premier Fall Final.
