HLTV and 1pv.fr are reporting that G2 are set to bench their Aussie starlet jks.
The former Renegades star joined the team alongside HooXi in August 2022.
jks has been a key player for G2 since his arrival, helping the team claim victory at BLAST Premier World Final 2022, IEM Katowice, and IEM Cologne.
The reports come after weeks of rumours surrounding G2. First, it was the rumour that both NiKo and m0NESY were being targeted by Falcons, but G2's manager Peca stated that the Russian sniper was not for sale.
It was later reported that NiKo would still be joining the Saudi organisation, although a sensational U-turn proved that to be untrue.
The reports of jks' benching also state that G2 may turn to their former IGL nexa to replace him.
The Serbian's contract with OG is set to expire at the end of the year and he has previously been linked with a move to ENCE. While a part of G2 nexa reached the final of the PGL Stockholm Major and IEM Cologne 2021.
After three years with G2 (2019-2022) he departed in a swap deal with Aleksib.
