Yesterday, FaZe produced the most shocking result of BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024 thus far as they were taken down 2-0 by GamerLegion.
Today, however, they showed why they are one of the most feared teams in the world as they dismantled Spirit in a confident 2-0 victory.
Let's see how they did it.
Anubis began with a 7-0 lead for FaZe, but it could have gone very differently had rain not managed to find baz in the smoke on round three.
Despite the lead, IGL karrigan was struggling, and he couldn't help but show his frustrations as he went into the break 4-11 despite a 9-3 scoreline.
The second half was a formality for FaZe as they wrapped up the game 13-4. frozen was on fire, he ended the game with a 21-9 statline.
Although FaZe were firmly in the driver's seat, it was Spirit who got off to the best start on Nuke as they won the opening pistol round.
FaZe quickly wrestled back control, however, and frozen continued his solid series with this ace spraydown.
The Slovakian would stay strong too, ending the map with another 21 kills for his second map in a row with a +2.00 HLTV rating.
13-4 again, it was a game that displayed just how much Spirit were missing with the absences of magixx and donk.
FaZe will now face GamerLegion in a rematch of their shock opening defeat.
