FaZe have extended their win-streak to 17 after edging out a thrilling game against Cloud9.
The Russian team pushed them to their limits, but they eventually overcame their opponents thanks to overtime on map three.
Overpass has been incredibly CT-sided so far here at Fall Final, so it was a worry for FaZe when they could only record a 7-5 CT half.
In the opening rounds, it looked as if FaZe would walk away with it. Cloud9 were overthinking and it led to this disastrous outcome in their first gunr round.
Despite this, Cloud9 came back into the game, and by their CT side electroNic was showing why he is regarded as one of the best riflers of all time.
electroNic ended the map with 25 kills, the most of anyone in the server, and Cloud9 closed it out at 13-11 just as it looked like FaZe may be able to force the game to OT.
It didn't take long for FaZe to show why they are the current number-one ranked team in the world.
13-2 was the scoreline on the second map, the most one-sided of any scoreline we've seen thus far at the event.
ropz shone from the early stages, this 1v2 shows why he has arguably
been the best player since the release of the new game.
An ice-cold play by the Estonian, he wasn't the only member of FaZe putting the hurt to their opponents, broky also had a huge round on FaZe's CT pistol as he stuck the defuse.
It wasn't all doom and gloom for Cloud9 though. HObbit showed why he should potentially be the new AWPer of the team as he hit this collateral in Mid.
A meek showing from Cloud9, they would need to pull it out of the bag in order to stand a chance against a FaZe team as strong as this on map three.
Cloud9 had already shown they could play Anubis in yesterday's win over NAVI, and they continued to look good on the map against FaZe.
electroNic continued to star as he ended the game with a 32-20 statline, although it was new captain Boombl4 who will steal the headlines thanks to his ace on round 20.
Cloud9 gave themselves series point with an eco victory, and at 12-10 they looked to be able to get themselves over the line and secure a playoffs berth.
Unfortunately, the duo of rain and Twistzz proved too much to handle. With 28 and 30 kills apiece they were the main driving forces as FaZe clawed their way back and secure OT.
Cloud9 came nail-bitingly close to an important round in OT, Ax1Le was just one bullet away from tying the game at 16-16.
In the end, Cloud9 would fail to secure another round and the map ended in FaZe's favour 19-15.
