American Derby awaits in thriller - Showdown day 3 preview
It took until day two of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown for there to be a full best of three, so what new will day three bring us?
The first day of the event with two games in our Americas Showdown, day two will also be the first day in which one of our finalists is decided and a team puts themselves within touching distance of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023.
Our games today feature both a Brazilian and an NA derby, so let's get you in the loop with what to expect.
BIG vs ENCE
In the first semi-final of the Showdown, BIG will take on ENCE.
ENCE have been in fine form in recent months, and as a reward for that form, they've already secured their qualification to BLAST Premier World Final. As for BIG, if they hope to play in Abu Dhabi, they'll have not just to win the Showdown, but win BLAST Premier Fall Final too.
On ranking alone, ENCE are by far the favourites, but with star rifler Nertz playing on high ping, anything could happen. BIG looked strong in their opening game versus 9INE, and as finalists in BLAST Premier Spring Showdown, they know what they have to do to go one step further.

The first of two derby matches from our Americas Showdown, Complexity and Evil Geniuses will do battle to get another notch on the board as they fight for the title of the best team in NA.
In the grand scheme of things, both teams are still young, but with EliGE and autimatic on the server, they both also have the required experience for important games like these.
On recent form, Complexity are the favourites, but as our analysts perfectly captured on the desk already: Anything can happen in matches with bragging rights at stake.

For those of you who are unaware of who the recently signed Legacy roster are, they used to be known as 00NATION. If that means nothing to you, that means we'll be getting coldzera versus FalleN in our Brazilian derby.
FURIA have thus far failed to impress on the international stage since signing the legendary leader, but with the team qualifying for the playoffs at ESL Pro League Season 18 recently, things are on the up for them.
As for Legacy, they are yet to win a match since being signed by their new organisation, but there's no better time to start than with a win against the best team in their region.
