Falcons see off Virtus.pro to qualify for Fall Final 2024
Day five of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 was semi-finals day - the final two games that would decide which two teams would complete the lineup at the event in Copenhagen.
In the first game of the day, FaZe overcame OG with two 13-8 wins to book their spot and Falcons joined them in the second with their own 2-0 win over Virtus.pro.
Falcons soar on Vertigo
Falcons started strong on Vertigo, leading 6-1 after seven rounds had been played.
It's easy to see why when SunPayus was hitting shots like this.
10-2 at the half, VP managed to claw some rounds back thanks to shots like these from n0rb3r7.
However, Falcons remained calm, and Magisk secured map pint with a 1v2 in the B site post-plant.
The map ended 13-10, but not without an incredible 1v4 from SunPayus.
Falcons book Fall Final place on Mirage
Magisk and SunPayus weren't the only Falcons players clutching, Snappi pulled off a 1v2 on round two to get his team on the board.
Magisk remained strong, the former Vitality and Astralis man was playing with his food as he took out two in Connector.
Falcons began to build up a strong lead, SunPayus was key in recording a seventh to give his team a five-round advantage.
9-3 at the half, VP fell with ease in the second half as Falcons converted with a 13-6 scoreline.
