Falcons eliminate GamerLegion in quick 2-0
Day two has been another thrilling day here at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 but sadly the day ended with another team bowing out of the competition.
This time GamerLegion, the young squad were eliminated at the hand of Falcons, who bounced back from an opening day defeat against Astralis.
Falcons make light work of their opponents on Anubis
Falcons quickly put their day one woes behind them on Anubis, the team raced to a 7-0 start on their CT side.
Literally.
They were even racing outside of the server, too. Or at least dupreeh was.
8-4 at the half, sl3nd was determined not to let the gap grow any larger as he clutched up in the second half pistol round.
However, the Hungarian was powerless to prevent Magisk from getting a double entry through a smoke onto the A site.
Those kills took the wind out of GamerLegion's sails and set Falcons up to close out the game with a 13-8 scoreline.
Falcons dominate Nuke
It was all smiles for Falcons in the early exchanges of Nuke, their only mild moment of error came when Snappi team killed dupreeh with a poorly placed HE.
The squad continued to surge forward, but sl3nd was on hand once again to prevent the round from being flawless for Falcons.
GamerLegion tried everything to motivate themselves at half time, including offering some potential rewards for the comeback.
But sadly for them there will have been no steaks eaten, GamerLegion fell just a few rounds later at 13-5 and will now be heading home to prepare for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.
