Full rebuild: Cloud9 sign ICY, interz, and HeavyGod
Cloud9's roster fell apart following the departure of electroNic to Virtus.pro, with both H0bbit and Perfecto being benched not long after.
The North American roster has been searching for a solution ever since, and they have finally found that solution after the announcement of three new arrivals.
Three new stars
The biggest story within the incoming players is the return of interz to his former team. The support player initially departed for TSM last year after struggling for form.
However, the biggest signing itself comes in the form of HeavyGod, with the Israeli superstar leaving OG after just six months to sign for his new team.
Completing the roster is ICY, the long-awaited solution to the AWPing problem Cloud9 has endured ever since sh1ro left for Spirit towards the end of 2023.
The 19-year-old Kazakhstani player is relatively unproven in tier one, however, he impressed with AMKAL during the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 cycle.
The roster is completed by former NAVI player Boombl4 and long-standing member Ax1Le, the two players remaining from the previous iteration of the Cloud9 team.
