Cloud9 have announced further changes to their roster with the benchings of HObbit and Perfecto.
This comes a week after the shock departure of star player electroNic to their Russian rivals Virtus.pro.
The move comes after a trying few months for Cloud9 in which they have struggled for real results following the departure of sh1ro last year and the resulting lack of an AWPer.
HObbit was part of the original squad that joined Cloud9 after starring for Gambit during the online era.
A former Major winner, he would go on to win IEM Dallas 2022 with Cloud9 as well as placing in second at ESL Pro League Season 17.
Perfecto joined much later as part of the rebuild alongside electroNic. Also formerly a Major winner, he was previously part of the NAVI team that dominated CS in 2021 but failed to replicate that success on Cloud9.
Although it is unclear what will happen next for the American organisation, Jack Etienne, the org's owner, has promised that the team will rebuild around the two remaining players, Ax1Le and Boombl4.
Cloud9 also parted ways with their assistant coach F_1N as part of these changes.
