The recent off-season may not have led to the massive roster shake-up people would have been hoping for, but there has still been a whole host of exciting moves taking place as teams strive to become the best.
Whether teams have gone through one change or undergone full rebuilds in order to reach that goal, many will turn out to be successful, and some less so.
To find out who is most likely to be successful, we asked the BLAST Premier talent to give their predictions on which recent roster moves will prove to be the greatest.
Even though his performance overall has seen some issues, I still think electroNic is someone who will prove a really valuable pick for VP.
The roster move we haven't seen yet. I think we are in a timeline where a lot of teams are quite satisfied with their rosters because they feel the distance to the top isn’t that steep.
There is no one dominating the scene at the moment, and everyone within the top 10-12 can realistically hope to get close to winning stuff in the next six months.
Therefore, my answer is the change we haven't seen yet. Someone will disappoint, and someone will act in a way that I think will be a stronger move than those we've seen so far.
jks to Liquid is a banging move. I'm excited to see him back in top-tier Counter-Strike and curious as to how he fairs in CS2.
I'm not sure if it is the most successful move though, as Liquid has a lot of other moving parts which need to work.
HeavyGod to Cloud9 is also one I rate highly. Actually, the whole C9 roster revamp is pretty pog in my opinion.
There aren't any recent transfers that I think are going to be successful.
I would say HEROIC probably did the best "upgrade" currently imaginable bringing in degster for nicoodoz. This is a clear firepower uptick and the newest recruit has already proven his ability to be a carrying superstar in his former teams.
I am hoping to see him mesh with the rest of the squad, particularly with kyxsan, so that his full potential may be exploited in the best conditions.
