BLAST Fantasy Manager revealed: Pick your team now

Our engineering team has been working around the clock to create a perfect game for you.

And today we're happy to announce BLAST Fantasy Manager; a game where you can compete for great prizes, ranks on the global leaderboard and win bragging rights over your friends in private leagues.

How to play Fantasy Manager

Fantasy Manager for Fall Groups is live now. Go to the 'Play' tab on BLAST.tv, where you will find BLAST Fantasy Manager alongside Counter-Strikle and Pick 'Ems.

Then start to pick your team.

In BLAST Fantasy Manager you're ranked on a global leaderboard, but you can also create private leagues and play with friends

The rules are simple, players are divided into five categories:

• Diamond
• Platinum
• Gold
• Silver
• Bronze

Pick one player from each column and select a captain in order to build your team.

Be careful, though; you can only feature two players from each team, so make sure you're using all your knowledge to spread the frags across your team as efficiently as possible.

Each player will then earn points based upon their game performance (rating). The player you select as captain will receive a multiplier of those points they earn: The multiplier for a Diamond-rated player is 1.2x, increasing to 2.0x for a Bronze player.

Points are cumulative and event-specific.

However, they will be added to a 2023 leaderboard that will span from BLAST Premier Fall Groups all the way to BLAST Premier World Final.

Play against friends

If you want to really test your knowledge versus your friends, you can create private leagues and battle it out amongst yourselves.

Create a league and share the unique code or link to that league with your friends, pick your teams, and earn bragging rights.

Who should you pick?

We've got to get in on the action, of course, and some of you may also be needing so inspiration for your teams.

First of all, we asked our gigabrain talent to pick their teams. You can find their picks right here.

The BLAST.tv editorial section also picked our team:

• Bronze player: Patsi

A strong fragger who will be taking lots of fights for his new team, Patsi stands a good chance of receiving higher-than-average ratings for players in the Bronze category. We could've gone with FASHR though, who could be a star of the new OG roster.

• Silver player: hampus (captain)

There is no better option than hampus. One of the highest-fragging IGL's and if he's half as good as he was when he began his break, he's a great choice. He'll also be the one we give the captain's armband to.

• Gold player: Staehr

Staehr is a great option for the Gold category, as is Regali, two young players keen to prove they are now where they belong. They would both be strong choices here. However, we've opted for flameZ, who is sure to make Vitality even more of a dangerous prospect now he's joined the team.

• Platinum: blameF

We've gone for blameF, who although he is now IGLing, has shown many times before he has the capacity to be both the brain and the brawn of his teams.

• Diamond: ZywOo

Finally, in Diamond, we picked ZywOo. The best player in 2023, and we believe that the summer break has left the Frenchman hungry for more. He is also our captain.

While there will be no event-specific prizes for Fantasy Manager for BLAST Premier Fall groups, any points earned will go towards your placing in the 2023 leaderboard and prizes will be available later.
