"It has to be Vitality. I think the consistency they've shown throughout the year, winning the Major, it has to be Vitality.

They've done it with three different lineups as well, made roster changes, the proactive move of removing dupreeh after winning the Major and not just bringing in flameZ but winning tournaments afterwards as well is super cool. Even for them to lose Magisk and bring in mezii and still win a tournament just showcases the strength of the team."

"The best team is Vitality, I think wining Fall Final solidified that. Beating FaZe, on top of winning the Major, on top of consistently being good throughout the year whereas FaZe only have CS2 and are now being beaten in CS2 as well. FaZe had motivation issues, they didn't really do much before CS2 outside of winning Pro League and completing the longest Grand Slam run in history which isn't a nice thing."

"G2 were in the conversation for a period, but I think it's undeniably Vitality at this point. There were question marks about that when they lost Magisk, but I think mezii has maybe even bolstered them, they look so good, I'm very excited about them. Vitality are the team of the year, hands down."

"I think Vitality, especially now they've won World Final, that cements it. But, fair play to FaZe for adapting to CS2 so quickly, it was mad seeing how many trophies they won back-to-back-to-back, only stopped by Vitality at Fall Final. Vitality ended that streak, so for my money, it's Vitality. But I do see the argument for FaZe too."

"Vitality, they took FlameZ and Mezii to their first tournament wins ever and won the Major, it's just been such an impressive year for them.

In both versions of the game they haven’t slowed down, they took losses such as Magisk and Zonic going to Falcons and still found a way to come out on top. I am hugely impressed by their adaptability and consistency shown when other teams would folder under such circumstances."

We may have thrown in a curveball for in our vote for best player - which you'll see soon! - but we simply can't when it comes to the best Counter-Strike team of 2023.

Without a doubt, the award has to go to Vitality. They won more tournaments than anyone else this year, and as Pimp said, they did so regardless of their roster moves. It was a truly incredible year for them.
