Throughout the year on BLAST.tv we've been running our Fantasy Manager game. An exciting game that allowed you to build the perfect team in order to score points and win prizes, it added a whole new level of competition for our viewers.
With the conclusion of BLAST Premier World Final and the professional calendar in 2023, it's time now to look back through some key stats from the year and announce our winner.
Before that, let's first take a look at the best possible team you could have built at World Final.
In case you don't already know the rules, they're pretty simple: pick one player from each tier (Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) and choose one to be your captain, the captain will receive a points multiplier depending on which tier they're in. You can also only pick two players from one team.
With that in mind, thanks to his incredible performances at World Final, the best choice for the Bronze tier and the captaincy was mezii. The UK star almost won the MVP award at the event, and he capped off his first couple of months with Vitality with a second trophy win. Thanks to the multiplier, a captained mezii would have scored you an incredible 680 points.
For the Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers, you were best off selecting semi-finalists iM, torzsi, and b1t. All three were in top form in Abu Dhabi, and only b1t would have netted you under 300 points.
From the Diamond tier, there's no surprise as to who you were best off picking. Vitality sniper ZywOo rounded out his incredible year with another MVP performance, and even without any multiplier, he would have scored you a monstrous 390 points.
Although an incredible amount of you took part in Fantasy Manager over the year, ten of you managed to perform better than anyone else.
An incredible performance by everyone in the top ten, you can see just how close the race for second place was, and just how dominant our winner, 1danne1, has been.
Either 1danne1 is a genius, or Anders decided to take a break from running the simulation and let him have a turn.
An incredible Fantasy Manager run for them in 2023, the gap between first and second is larger than the gap between second and tenth.
Let's take a look at some of 1danne1's key stats that helped them take the crown:
That might be it for Fantasy Manager in 2023, but keep your eyes peeled for everything we have in store for Fantasy Manager in 2024.
Everyone's favourite draft game will be returning, and there will be even more fantastic prizes for you viewers to win from home.
Let's see if anyone can take down 1danne1 or if they will defend their crown.
