StarRupture's tutorial teaches you how to start farming Wolfram and Titanium, the two most basic resources in Arcadia-7, but it doesn't tell you how to get your hands on the third tip of the trifecta.
Here is how to farm Calcium in StarRupture, including where to find it, and how you can get it into your first base.

The closest Calcium deposit to the Orbital Lander (your spawn point and where you'll place your tutorial base) is the beige spot on the right side of the map. This is an excellent spot to farm Calcium because it features four separate deposits, allowing you to stock up as much or as little as you prefer.
It is a a bit distant to the tutorial base, but you can easily set up a long rail system to get the Calcium from there. Alternatively, you can use the moment in which you'll need to start farming Calcium as an excuse to move your base to a much better position, right here:

This location will get you almost equidistant to the Calcium, Titanium, and Wolfram deposits, and will even allow you to start farming some Helium-3 in the future, albeit from a relatively distant deposit.
Like Titanium and Wolfram, Calcium is an ore. You don't need a dedicated building to farm it, you simply need to plop down an Ore Excavator on top of a deposit.
As previously mentioned, you will find four separate deposits in the location we highlighted above, which will be plenty for the entirety of your Early Access StarRupture playthrough.
While you initially only use Calcium to level up your Corporations, it quickly becomes the third part of the trifecta of Ores that stands at the base of most StarRupture items.
Once you unlock the Furnace and begin crafting Calcium Powder, that will become mandatory for most items, and it is used to craft Shotgun ammo.
