The Black Market in Star Wars Zero Company is one of those systems you probably want to understand early, because Credits can disappear pretty quickly if you start buying everything that looks useful.
I’d honestly avoid doing that. The shop has a rotating stock, and some items are much better buys than others.

You cannot just walk into the Black Market right away. You need to unlock it manually while upgrading your Den Level.
Head over to the Facilities section when working on your Den upgrades. This is where you will find both Black Market and Black Market Quality.
Black Market becomes available at Den Level 1, so you can get to the actual shop fairly early. Black Market Quality starts at Den Level 2 and can be upgraded further as you increase your Den Level.
Once you have unlocked the facility, getting to the shop is easy. Go to your Den, open Armory, and then select the Black Market tab on the right side.
You will see the current items listed on the left, along with how many Credits each one costs.

The main thing to remember is that the Black Market does not have one permanent inventory. The items available in the shop change every cycle in your campaign.
That makes checking the shop after each cycle a pretty good habit. You might see something useful one cycle and then get a completely different selection the next time around.
Credits are the currency you use here, and you can earn them by completing Missions and Operations from the Holo Table.
The Black Market items can be marked as either Basic or Superior, and this is probably the easiest way to decide what deserves your attention.
If you are new to the game, I’d generally skip the Basic items. They can be tempting when you are looking for a quick upgrade, but your Credits are better saved for Superior options.
Superior items are where I’d focus most of your spending, especially once you have improved Black Market Quality.
