The Black Door inside the Dreadnaught is one of the most rewarding secrets in Sand Raiders of Sophie. Behind it, you'll find some of the best loot in the game, but reaching it takes more than simply finding a key.
You need to complete a chain of key upgrades across several locations before you can finally unlock the door.
How to open Black Door inside Dreadnaught in Sand Raiders of Sophie
To open the Black Door, you must upgrade the Green Key into the Black Key by visiting multiple locations across the map. After that, survive until the Dreadnaught appears as the final extraction point in a Storm Drive match and use the Black Key to unlock the door.
Find the Green Key
Everything starts with the Green Key. You can find it inside Rare and Very Rare Valuable Safes scattered across the map. Since the key comes from loot containers, you may need to search several safes before getting it.
Once you have the Green Key, it's time to begin the upgrade path.
Kaiserplatz
Travel to Kaiserplatz and head to the large mansion at the highest point of the area. Go through the main entrance and unlock the first door on the left with the Green Key.
Inside the room, you'll find the Blue Key on a table along with some extra loot.
Meersauge
Next, head to Meersauge in the southern part of the map. The area is fairly small, so finding the blue locked door shouldn't take long.
Use the Blue Key to open the room and look around. The Red Key is resting on a chair that is partially buried in the sand.
Segen
Go to the bank building in Segen and make your way upstairs. Use the Red Key to unlock the red door.
Besides valuable loot, you'll also find the White Key sitting on a table in the left corner of the room.
Fort Istria
Your final stop is Fort Istria. Enter through the main entrance and move to the right side of the fort.
You'll come across a red-colored door that must be destroyed with any explosive. Continue downstairs and use the White Key to unlock the next room.
The Black Key is waiting on the desk to your left.
Dreadnaught
With the Black Key in your inventory, enter a Storm Drive match and stay alive until the Dreadnaught appears as the final extraction point.
Since every surviving player is likely to head there, clearing nearby enemies before exploring can make the run much safer.
Look for the large shipwreck and destroy the red door with an explosive. Follow the corridors until you reach the only dark-colored locked door inside the area.
Use the Black Key to open the Black Door and collect the high-value loot waiting inside.
