I’ve spent a good amount of time running through Resident Evil Requiem, trying to bring the completion time under four hours, and the biggest thing I learned is this.
You don’t need perfect aim or insane skills. You need a clean route, puzzle memory, and the discipline not to get distracted.

This is your opening stretch. Walk directly to the hotel, grab the key hidden behind the photo, and move into the lobby without exploring the side areas. Pick up the wire cutters upstairs and use them immediately to open the locked path.
The flashback sequence with Alyssa is unskippable in terms of movement, so just follow her and don’t overthink it. Once you’re back, grab the diary and floppy disk from the luggage rack area, deal with the infected officer quickly, and head to the emergency exit.
From here, the game shifts to Leon, and you should just push forward while ignoring extra enemies.

This is the longest and most important section for your time. Small mistakes here cost minutes. Start by grabbing the Cherub key and lighter, then loop through the nurse’s station to trigger events and collect the screwdriver and fuse.
Once you unlock the grill, the main goal becomes collecting keycards, solving puzzles, and getting three Quartz pieces.
You’ll move between the West Wing and the East Wing a lot, so keep your route tight. In the West Wing, grab the unicorn trinket and solve the puzzle using Moon, Sun, Star, Moon to get the first Quartz.
Then move to the East Wing, collect the corrosive acid, and solve the second puzzle using Star, Sun, Moon, and Sun. Don’t waste time fighting unless something blocks your path.
For progression, you’ll need the artificial lung and heart. Get the wrench, open Cold Storage, and collect both items. Use them in the Examination room to upgrade your wristband.
This unlocks more areas and lets you progress faster. The Braille puzzle requires Emily, so grab her and return quickly without detours.
The basement section with joint plugs is simple if you know the locations. Grab all three from Holding Cell, Inspection, and Processing, then head straight to the elevator. Once you get all the Quartz pieces, escape immediately.
The final part here includes getting the helicopter key through a hidden mechanism in Victor’s office. Insert the Double Helix model, descend, grab the key, and leave.
The water treatment section that follows is about activating three power systems and escaping. Keep moving and avoid getting cornered.

This section is more about movement than puzzles. After defeating the spider boss, head underground and then back up to the city. Your main objective is building the detonator.
Pick up the first part at the BSAA camp. Use generators to open paths and climb to rooftops to locate the remaining parts. The Cedarbrooks building gives you another piece, and the Willis Tower route gives you the final one. Use the zipline to save time instead of backtracking.
Once the detonator is ready, fight your way back to the gate. Plant it, trigger the explosion, and move into the bike sequence. You don’t need to eliminate everything here, just survive and stay on track. The section ends after defeating Victor.

At RPD, grab the hydraulic jack and move through the main hall quickly. The orphanage segment switches to stealth. Stay patient here. Hide when needed, move only when safe, and avoid unnecessary risks.
In the crypt, turn on the power, use the coffin as a ladder, and grab the fire poker to escape. Once you return to Leon, you’ll face the Tyrant. Don’t try to fully fight it, just create space and escape.
The orphanage path leads underground, where you’ll fight Plant 43 variants. Keep moving forward and conserve ammo for the boss at the end. Once done, head toward the ARK entrance.

As Grace, sneak past lickers and grab the override key. Use it to unlock paths for Leon. Then collect the magnetic key and use it to obtain the Noblesse orb and Animus orb.
Place both orbs to unlock the archives and trigger the final phase. As Leon, push toward the Central refining system while clearing only necessary enemies. After regrouping with Grace, choose to Release Elpis.
The final fight against Victor’s last form is straightforward if you keep distance and stay consistent. Once he’s down, the run ends.
