Following its PS5 Pro reveal, Sony came out with a new Playstation State of Play on September 24, 2024.
Some of the biggest announcements managed to not be leaked before hand, but a few disappointing predictions came true.

During its thirty minute runtime, Playstation's State of Play managed to pack quite a bit of news.
- Astrobot is getting getting a free add-on sometime in Fall 2024, with 5 new speedrun levels.
- The Midnight Walk, a "game handcrafted in clay". From the creators of Lost in Random, a PS5 game that is compatible with PSVR2. Seems to be a horror-exploration title.
- Hell is Us, a third person action game made by Rogue Factor, published by Nacon.
- Metro Awakening VR, a VR adaptation of the famous franchise, coming to PSVR2 on November 7, 2024.
Metro Awakening - ArcheAge Chronicles, an online action RPG, a sort of spin-off sequel to the homonymous Korean MMO that came out back in 2013.
- Palworld is out on PS5 Today.
- Lunar Remastered Collection. Includes Silver Star Story and Eternal Blue. New visuals, widescreen mode, and more. Coming to PS5 and PS5 Spring 2025.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is getting a DLC called Radical Reptiles. This update is out today and adds two new playable characters.
- Sonic X Shadow Generations Pre-Movie Pack adds Keanu Reeves as Shadow's voice actor.
- Fantasion Neo Dimension, a turn based RPG with over 150 handmade diorama backgrounds. Music by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu, known for his work in Final Fantasy. Coming December 5 for PS5 and PS5.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Dragon Age: The Veilguard trailer showing a boss fight against Corius The Icetalon, paired with an intriguing cutscene. The game's coming October 31.
- Alan Wake 2 premium expansion, The Lake House, is coming this October. A likely Halloween release.
- IOI is bringing Hitman: World of Assassination to PSVR2. The game comes with full dual-wield support, and promises intuitive gestures. It's coming December 2024.
- Legacy of Kayn: Soulreaver 1 and 2 are being Remastered, with considerably improved visuals. Availabe December 10, 2024 for PS4 and PS5, celebrating the game's 25th anniversary.
- Blumhouse Games' Fear the Spotlight is getting a full release on October 22, 2024. It will be available for PS5 and PS4.
- Towers of Aghasba, a survival crafting game where you build a town in "your island" is heading to Early Access in November, 2024. There's a multiplayer component.
- A new limited edition Fortnite Dualsense Controller is coming, with pre-orders starting in October 3, 2024.
- Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the latest entry in the Koei Tecmo franchise, has a confirmed release date of January 17, 2025.
Monster Hunter: Wilds - Monster Hunter: Wilds finally got a release date, February 28, 2025.
- The rumors were true, Horizon Zero Dawn is getting remastered. It is essentially being made to look more like Forbidden West, and contains 10 hours of additional recordings. 9,99€ upgrade for PS4 version owners, no information on PC owners. Remastered done by Guerilla and Nixxes.
- Lego Horizon Adventures is coming during November 14, 2024.
- Stellar Blade is getting a Photo Mode and releasing its soundtrack on streaming platforms. A collab with Nier: Automata is coming later this year. Who could've seen that one coming?
- Blood Omen: Legacy of Kayn and Dino Crisis are coming to the Classics Catalog, and The Last Of Us Part 1: Remastered is being added to the PS Plus Game Catalog.
- There are three new color packs coming to PS5 and Dualsense: Indigo, pearl, Teal. Pre-orders start on October 3, 2024.
- A lot more titles have been confirmed to be PS5 Pro Enhanced, including the upcoming MGS 3: Snake Eater, Assassin's Creed: Shadows, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Ghost of Yōtei - Sucker Punch is bringing a Ghost of Tsushima sequel, Ghost of Yōtei, with a female protagonist at the helm. It's coming in 2025.
